"Simply the Best" If you like small hotels outside the city with a personal service then this is the one for you. Exceptional attention to detail in all respects from the design of the rooms, the quality of the materials used, the hotel staff, the location.........and I could go on.....then this is it. With only 9 rooms, well actually they are the size of two bed flat in London, you feel more as if you have been lent the home of a rich friend, who has instructed his exceptional staff to look after your every whim, than in a hotel - except that there is a bill at the end of your stay! I cant recommend more highly. Stayed February 2017, travelled with family
"Wow" Happened upon this wonderful Relays & Chateau property in the middle of nowhere and I was duly impressed. Our suite looked out over land as far as we can see with birds horses camels and other animals running around. Fabulous food and princely service. Beautiful sunset on the balcony. There is a nice pool and our suite had a pool. There are plenty of activities if you choose. Stayed April 2017, travelled with family.
"Total immersion" If you want to immerse yourself in the countryside in Rajasthan this is the place. From my bedroom I could see camel, goats, beautiful Mirwahri horses, blue bull, black buck and mongoose as well as numerous birds. The food is delicious and the service most attentive and charming. The rooms luxurious. The highlight for me was riding through the desert on Mirwahri horses. Definitely not for the novice, these are lively young horses. An unforgettable experience. Only disappointment - a room called the library should have some decent books and magazines that people might actually want to read.
"Maharaja-esque" A lot about this marvelous property has already been written about Mihir Garh, and I don't have anything new add about the rooms, location or service levels, except that I echo all the 5-starred reviews. The only thing new thing I want to add is Mihir Garh's food. We stayed at Mihir Garh for 3 nights, and each and every meal they served was orgasmic, in particular the mutton dishes. All dinners were accompanied by live music, and that being in the middle of nowhere, made the whole experience absolutely surreal. Being curios, during one of the dinners, my wife and I ended up enquiring about the source of meat which led to a lengthy discussion about the impact of various kinds of feed on meat quality, and level of detail Mihir Garh staff ensure around the feed so that the meat dishes served are of the highest possible quality. Even had the property not been so regal, I'd still go back just for the food experience. Stayed December 2016, travelled as a couple
"A Hidden Luxury Secret" The road to MIHIR GARH gives you a bumpy ride, yet a memorable one. Its a 15 minute drive from the village rohet. The place is huge, built 2009 with a flawless architecture. The hotel is a luxury boutique hotel and also a part of the famous Relais And Chateaux. One who loves silence and pampering hospitality should definitely book a room. They offer nine suites with over 1700 square feet of private space, with amenities like Plunge Pool or Jacuzzi. Every room has something different and unique to offer. The rooms have been named after the Marwari Stallions. The interiors have been done in a very subtle way and one can identity the rajasthani artwork on the walls as well as the flooring. Each room offers a big open private terrace, huge washrooms etc. This place should not be missed ever, their hospitality & architecture will leave you stunned and urge you to come back.
"Recent visit" This is a wonderful place to stay for those who want silence and calm. Complete peace and quiet, beautiful surroundings, really delicious food and very comfortable rooms. The service is faultless and highly efficient. The bumpy road to get there is worth it. I would gladly return for another visit.
"Luxury at your best" The minute you enter the property till you depart, it is 24 hour treatment as if you are the most important person in the universe. Comfortable, cozy, no nonsense luxurious, personal and still private. Only bad part was the road to reach the property (Last 10 minutes) was very rough. May be it is on purpose to keep curious people away. At 73 years, I felt like I was on honeymoon!! Stayed January 2017, travelled with family.
"One of the best places I have ever been" This place is heaven... it is like entering an oasis.. everything is beautiful and calm. Our trip to the local villages was extremely interesting and our guide was so knowledgeable. It is hard to find words for the food ,service and the beauty of Mihir Garh. The family has done everything with wonderfully good taste and grace. One must enjoy a sundowner on the terrace, and it is ideal for a morning jogging tour and watch the sunrise. Four friends from Denmark,Sweden and Island Stayed January 2017, travelled with friends.

"Three nights of luxurious peace and quiet." India is mayhem, and after 3 nights in Jodhpur it was wonderful to find this remote hotel. We slept like logs. It is like the Eye of the storm. Food is v good, and served whenever you ask for it, in seemingly unlimited quantities. The village safari was much better than expected, and we would love to go back again.
"Beautiful Mihir Garh" A beautiful and unusual place to stay between Jodhpur and Udaipur. Very relaxing. Food was good too! Beautiful room and private plunge pool! A very special experience and a good break from the all the action in India.
